I La Sportiva mini Rogaining

All orienteerers, hikers, mountain runners, hill walkers, outdoor adventurers, firms, friends and families are cordially welcome to participate in the I La Sportiva mini Rogaining event 2012.

Event Centre
Is located in Hyytiälä in Pirkanmaa, about 60 km from city of the Tampere.
Competition classes
There are three competition classes in the I La Sportiva mini Rogaining.
- 8-hour event is for those who really enjoy orienteering.
- 4-hour event is for those who want to test themselves.
- 3-hour event is for those who want to use MTB.
Teams
A team consists of 2 to 5 members.
Team classes
In all competition classes there is only one team class, OPEN.
Age limit
All participants must be at least 15 years of age.
Preliminary competition timetable
Saturday
10.00 (noon) Start of the 8-hour and 4-hour events
12.00 Start of the 3-hour MTB event
14.00 finish of the 4-hour event
15.00 finish of the 3-hour event
18.00 finish of the 8-hour event
Registration
The registration is made over the internet at: www.rogaining.fi. You will receive an invoice by e-mail after your registration in confirmed by the organisers.
Entry fees
The entry fee of a team is the sum of individual fees of the team members.

Checkpoints
The visits at the checkpoints are recorded by the teams by using an electronic punching system. The rent of the punching system is included in the fee.
Catering
All catering at the race centre during the event, and one hour after the finish of the event, is included in the fee. Besides that there will be water posts along the course.
Prizes
Three best teams in every class shall be awarded a prize.
